The American Journalism Institute is the flagship program of the Daily Caller News Foundation, co-founded by Tucker Carlson and Neil Patel in 2011.

Our mission is two-fold: 

First, we strive to be the most innovative, successful, results-driven training ground for up-and-coming journalists in America.

We train, mentor and launch the next generation of reporters, all the while providing full-time salary and benefits. 

Second, we investigate and tell stories that are overlooked or intentionally ignored by the biased media.

We then push those stories through our network of licensed media partners to reach millions of Americans.

We set a high bar for young reporters, and the results speak for themselves. Our alumni are White House correspondents, radio talk show hosts, investigative reporters and respected journalists. 

You will find alumni of the American Journalism Institute at Fox News, Daily Caller, Daily Wire, Daily Signal, CNN, CBS, The New York Times, Business Insider, The Wall Street Journal, Washington Examiner, Reuters, Sinclair Broadcasting and dozens of other media outlets. 

Fellows attend classes, receive on-the-job mentoring and are part of a vibrant reporting culture. Our office is located less than two blocks from the White House in downtown Washington, D.C.
